Organisers of SportelDubai, the first Sportel event to be staged outside its traditional strongholds of Europe and the US, say demand has been overwhelming.
Said David Tomatis, executive vice president of Sportel: "We are extremely pleased with the strong show of support, not only from our traditional client base, but also from many first-time participants in the Middle East region."
Tomatis says acquisition executives from 37 countries around the world have registered to attend the three-day event between March 15-17.
Adds Tomatis: "It is important to note that with attendees from a total of 42 countries already registered, SportelDubai 2004, like all our markets, will be truly international in scope and not merely a regional market.
"We strongly recommend participants continue to register as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the limited availability of hotel rooms at the special SportelDubai discounted rates."
SportelDubai takes place at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, a five-star hotel on Jumeirah Beach.
