Jon Tibbs, the PR guru behind the successful Athens and Beijing Olympic bids, has joined the Paris team chasing the 2012 Games.
Tibbs is believed to have tried to find a role within the London bid before being recruited by its arch-rival in the race. Paris and London are both seen as strong candidates for the Games.
