Bain will concentrate of taking Human Electric Ltd further into the sports and entertainment sector. Through its subsidiary SportsCo, it already provides a range of ticket, reservation and merchandising services to the UK motorsport industry.
Aside from becoming CEO, he has also acquired a substantial equity stake in the firm.
Said Bain: “As someone who has managed a successful sports business, I genuinely see a real and very urgent need to apply focus and resource to the paying customer and whilst sports businesses must obviously concentrate on the quality of the product, our own-label services portfolio complements clients’ own resources.
"I was impressed by the SportsCo team and their contribution to such major events as the British Grand Prix, World Superbikes and others. I’m therefore very keen to develop the parent company Human Electric into a very successful company."
