Puma extends Jaguar deal

Puma’s continuing mission to reinforce its position within motorsports continues after it confirmed it had extended its existing supplier contract with Formula One team Jaguar Racing.

The deal comes hot on the heels of recent deals with the Sauber and Renault teams, and Ford’s World Rally Championship team.
After one season with Jaguar as supplier of team footwear, the contract now includes fireproof pit crew boots.
Said David Pitchforth, managing director, Jaguar Racing: “Our relationship with Puma has strengthened over the last year and I am very pleased to announce we have been able to extend that relationship in time for the 2004 season. In order to succeed on track you need the best equipment in all areas of the business, and its good to know that Puma will be providing the footwear for all our requirements."
