Infront scores three for FIFA

Infront has signed a hat-trick of FIFA World Cup 2006 TV deals.

The global TV partner of FIFA has reached exclusive agreements in Greece, Romania and Estonia.
The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation SA (ERT), the state broadcaster of Greece, has an exclusive agreement for the Greek broadcast rights to the tournament. ERT was the broadcaster of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan.
In Romania, state broadcaster the Romanian Television Corporation (TVR), renewed a similar deal it had for 2002.
Estonia state broadcaster EESTI Television (ETV) completes the trio of deals.

Said Oscar Frei, CEO of Infront Sports & Media: "This is good news. As the event approaches, the sales process is gathering momentum, especially in Europe, which is in the right time zone for European broadcasters to gain maximum value from the World Cup. These deals mean coverage on three more free-to-air networks, meaning the best possible audience and plenty of viewing opportunities for the most exciting matches."

Infront has recently concluded a whole series of deals for 2006, including with NOS for Holland, Hong Kong Cable for Hong Kong, PT Surya Citra Televisi (STCV) for Indonesia and Leading Independent Media (LiM) for the territory of Sub Saharan Africa.
