Within the agreement, ecco will become the official footwear supplier to the European Solheim Cup team, both on and off course in 2005 at Crooked Stick GC, Indiana and in 2007 when the biennial event returns to European shores.
Moreover, tournament staff will wear the brand at each event and LET players will be supported by ecco for their golf footwear requirements.
Robin Gibson, commercial director of the LET, stated: "ecco recognise that women's golf at all levels is developing rapidly in Europe and that in partnership with the LET ecco can access this
sizable market for their high quality, innovative golf footwear collection."
