In 2003, McKellar was the BTCC's media officer on-event and prior to that, he filled the same role full-time for six years with Renault UK Motorsport, overseeing its Formula Renault and Clio Cup race championships that form part of the BTCC's support race package.
MPA Media handled the BTCC's media and PR during the mid-Nineties and was re-appointed earlier this month by the championship's series director Alan Gow.
