According to a poll by GfK Market Analysts, 62 percent of respondents will watch the Athens 2004 Summer Games on television.
The nationwide poll, which was taken between November 11 and 24, also indicated that 12 percent hadn’t yet made up their minds and 11 percent would not follow the Games at all.
About five per cent said they would be among the spectators, and nine percent plan to watch the Games both live and on television.
Also, 40 per cent of respondents anticipated more problems than benefits from the Games and 29 percent expected more benefits.
A new domestic poll has revealed that the majority of Greeks will watch this year's Athens Olympics on television rather than attend the various competitions.
