African sports channel SuperSport has signed a content protection and payment system for its paid-for cricket content.
It has signed a deal with Entriq, which specialises in pay media services for content providers, ISPs and cable operators, to handle its On-Demand’s package of live South African and West Indian cricket.
SuperSport On-Demand's pay media cricket package includes four, five-day live test matches; five, one-day live internationals; daily highlights; individual batting highlights; real-time scorecards; and daily interactive batman's highlights scorecards.
