The firm, which specialises in owning and operating live entertainment events, has teamed up with Paul Allen’s First & Goal Inc, operator of the Seahawks Stadium and Exhibition Center.
Once approved by the NCAA, the Seattle Bowl will begin in December 2004.
This license agreement is a strategic component of Pro Sports & Entertainment, Inc.'s application to the NCAA for the bowl game's re-certification.
Said First & Goal president and CEO, Tod Leweike: “We are extremely pleased to partner with Pro Sports & Entertainment as they position the Seattle Bowl in front of the NCAA.
"Their efforts to establish a permanent fixture in our region will be of significant value to the welfare of our community. We envision a committed effort from our citizens and businesses to make this a nationally recognised and popular event."
Depending on the Seattle Seahawks’ NFL schedule, the Seattle Bowl will be played each year between December 26-30.
As part of its April 2004 certification application, Pro Sports & Entertainment will seek commitments from participating conferences such as the Pacific 10, Mountain West, Atlantic Coast and Western Athletic.
