Next year's British Grand Prix at is set to move to the date reserved on the calendar for the France GP.
Silverstone organisers announced that they had begun selling tickets for the race, with the date set provisionally for July 11.
Additionally, ticket prices will be significantly reduced, with new categories of seating replacing fixed-price tickets.
Three-day tickets will start at £90 for adults and £30 for children - if puchased before March 1, 2004.
"We believe the new pricing offers better value for money to everyone," said Silverstone managing director Andrew Waller.
"We made it clear at this year's British Grand Prix that we would review pricing for 2004 and we've honoured this commitment."
The date switch was made a possibility after the French GP at Magny-Cours was thrown into doubt by financial problems.
Formula One's world governing body the FIA are expected to confirm the decision to axe the race at the end of the week.
The British Formula One Grand Prix is set for changes after ticket prices were reduced and its date in the calendar looked set to be switched.
