Stamp duty for RWC

Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG) has brokered a deal with the English RFU for a special Royal Mail Rugby World Cup stamp to celebrate England’s victory.

Released on December 19, the two first class and two 68p stamps, will form a commemorative miniature sheet showing scenes from England’s win over Australia in the final.
CPLG, the RFU’s licensing agency, says the deal aims to ‘maximise the visibility of the official England rugby emblems and promote the game to the world’.
Said Paul Vaughan, commercial director of the RFU: "We are really delighted that Royal Mail will be marking the England team's historic victory with a set of stamps that fully capture the excitement, passion and elation of 22 November."
