The deal kicks in as of the 2004 event in Queensland, and runs through until 2008.
Said deputy Premier and Minister for Sport, Terry Mackenroth: "Cadbury Schweppes have already enjoyed a long partnership with PGA, including some great work among the junior ranks in recent years.
"It is wonderful that they have decided to go a step further and come on board as naming rights sponsor for Australia's oldest professional golf tournament.
"And it will be played right here in Queensland - at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast to be precise - until at least 2006.”
This years event takes place between December 11 to 14. It is staged through the Queensland Events Corporation.
