The future of the Major League Baseball’s Montreal Expos is set to be resolved over the weekend.

According to MLB’s COO, Bob DuPuy, an agreement to play 22 of the Expos’ home games in San Juan or Monterrey will be concluded within ‘36 to 72’ hours.

The prediction followed an owners’ meeting yesterday, with talks on-going between the players’ association and the league over the venue for the Expos’ home game.
Said DuPuy: “Our goal is to find an economically viable location for the Expos that will ensure the successful operation of a major league franchise for decades to come.”
