The broadcaster won the Guirlande d’Honneur for topping the best documentary category for its ‘Zatopek an Olympic Legend’ – part of its Olympic Magazine series of programmes.
It also won an honourable mention in the new media category for its website – Eurosport.com.
Organised by the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, the Sport Movies & TV Festival hands out prizes every year to personalities from the fields of TV, cinema and journalism which have played a significant role in promoting sports and the cultural and ethical values of sport.
