UME hands out sporting advice

Recruitment firm United Media Entertainment Partners will be presenting to the students of this year CIES MA in Management, Law and Humanities in Sport on career opportunities within the sport and entertainment industries at De Montfort University in the UK.

"I am delighted to be able to provide the students a realistic view of the market in sport to enable them to make informed decisions regards their careers in sport," commented Dominic Quantrill, managing director of UMEP.
"Professional and specialist courses such as this MA can only be good for the industry as the students bring the knowledge and experiences to the business after the course for everyone’s benefit."
The FIFA approved course is in its 4th year and this year has 26 students representing 19 different nationalities.
Roland Chavillion of the development office of the Swiss-based University commented: "It is excellent for the students of the course to have Dominic speak to them about the career paths available to them at the beginning of the course. They can then plan their careers in good time to then take internships and full time roles in the industry at the end of the course."
