The reality TV programme will be called "The Tour" and will track Roddick as he deals with the trials and tribulations of the ATP Tour.
Commented Roddick: "I am totally amped for this show. I'm just this guy who happens to play tennis, but my life has become this circus. It's a wild ride, and I've given 'The Tour' producers total access...except my bedroom - sorry, I have to draw the line somewhere!"
Cameras will follow the tennis star through the summer months next year during the ATP Tour.
Roddick has a high profile image in the US courtesy of a spate of modelling and his relationship with actress and singer Mandy Moore.
The tennis player will also be hosting the popular US comedy show "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
Men's tennis is the latest to catch the reality TV bug after it was announced that world number one Andy Roddick will be the subject of a no holes barred documentary series next year.
