‘Bidding and Hosting’ takes place on November 4 at Chelsea Village, and will play to an audience of representatives from bidding cities, organising committees, federations, rights holders, sponsors, broadcasters and service providers.
More than 120 delegates from around Europe have already signed up, with representatives from the likes of ESPN, IMG, Octagon, the ITF, Olswang and Ryder Cup Ltd, all confirming attendance.
Recently added speakers include Paul Mason from BBC Resources, Andy Preece, from PMP, and Keith Ashton from S&P Architects.
The seminar will cover all levels of sporting events ranging from the Olympic Games through to world and continental championships.
The one-day programme will consist of four panel sessions: The bid process; delivering and funding of sporting events; sponsorship of events and its effectiveness; and broadcasting and distribution of major sports events.
Organised by Sportcal, all delegates will receive a free copy of ‘Bidding and Hosting – The Guide to Successful Sporting Events’.
