Snowtime gets makeover

Italian sports marketing firm Media Partners has revamped its winter sports portal just ahead of this weekend’s Ski World Cup.

Snowtime.com has been redesigned ready for the event and the Cross-Country Ski World Cup which take place in Dusseldorf, Germany between October 25-26.

Media Partners owns the international TV rights to the events.

Said Monica Ponti, marketing manager of Media Partners Group: “Snowtime.com changes its style but not its ranking.

“Founded in the 2000/2001 season, it has become a point of reference for ski fans with over a million visitors and almost ten million page views during the winter season.

“Our goal, with this new release, is to offer more information to users, such as the TV guide or winter resorts, and more services for our sponsors, besides of course all the exact information on races and athletes of all disciplines.”

The Media Partners Group holds the media and marketing rights of about 80 percent of all FIS World Cup events and of the Freestyle World Championship until 2011.
