Golf tees up share scheme

Tagged in , &

A new share scheme to boost the career of young golfers has been set up – and is already looking at a global roll-out.

The ProShare scheme is simple – club professionals sell enough shares in themselves to club members and friends to give them a crack at the big time; with future winnings being divided among the shareholders.

It works in a similar manner to that operated by Formula One driver Justin Wilson prior to his first season last year – although on a far more modest initial financial outlay for shareholders.

Already launched in Scotland by legal firm and sport agents KWAD, company chief Kevin Davidson is already looking at expanding to further afield – and cracking the US market next year.
