Malcolm Glazer, owner of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has doubled his stake holding in English soccer giants Manchester United.
According to reports, Glazer has increased his share from 3.17 percent to 5.92 percent.
Glazer has, in the past, been linked with a possible takeover of the club, and his latest moves will do nothing to pour cold water on continued speculation that the Old Trafford club could soon find itself the centre of a major bid.
Glazer is now the fifth biggest shareholder in the club.
Shares in the Premier League club rose on early trading today as a result of the deal.
