SMS launches new services

Research and consultancy group Sports Marketing Surveys has added three more services to its product portfolio.

The three new services involve partnerships with US based IEG and venue advertising agency Stadia, as well as the launch of a new research consultancy division – Sports Marketing Surveys plus.
The initiatives come on the back of SMS' recent announcement to set up a £100,000 research foundation for minority groups.
Sports Marketing Surveys has teamed up with US-based IEG to market the valuation service on a European basis.
The IEG Valuation provides a fair market value for sponsors and rights holders taking into account both tangible and intangible benefits combining information already being supplied by Sports Marketing Surveys through their media evaluation and research services.
Independent sponsorship valuations for both new and existing properties are provided at various levels including title sponsorships, supplier status, naming rights and more popular recently for bidding cities.
Sports Marketing Surveys will market the service in Europe and provide the local knowledge and information to assist in the valuation process.
This new service comes in addition to the launch, in March 2003, of Sports Marketing Surveys plus, with Sandra Greer returning to the company to head this knowledge based consultancy.
These two initiatives launched within the last six months are part of a long-term development plan by the company to move the market forward and help its clients maximise the value of its investment more effectively.
Sports Marketing Surveys has also teamed up with Stadia, to provide an innovative approach to spectator studies at venues and events.
Audience profiles and feedback can now be quickly digested by the client using sms text technology, cost effective self completion surveys and the opportunity to return to the spectators through internet and email.
