Infront - formerly KirchSport, prior to a management buy-out - says the deal to buy Sponsor Service Finland Oy, will strengthen its operations in the Nordic region and increase its focus on winter sports.
The Zug-based firm already has long-term international marketing partnerships with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the European Handball Federation (EHF).
Sponsor Service already represents the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation and the Finnish Handball Federation.
The move will also align Infront with the hospitality industry - a sector Sponsor Service is well established in.
Infront will have an initial 60 percent stake in the Helsinki-based firm, and plans to increase its holding in the future.
The key personnel, including owners Harry Harkimo, chairman, and Mikko Vanni, managing director, will remain in place.
Sponsor Service will be renamed Infront Nordic Oy.
