On Octobter 2-3, the sport and business world are meeting in Barcelona to analyse the relationship between Sport and Business at the Commercialising Sport event.
The conference will explore the relationship between sponsorship, the media and sport, paying special attention to how companies can generate revenues from sporting activities.
Through case study material from companies such as Siemens, Mastercard and Volvo the conference will examine why some of the world’s best known corporations have decided to link their brand name to sports sponsorship.
From the other side of the relationship the sports rights holder will explain how to increase revenues from the vast number of opportunities that exist today. FIFA, UEFA the ATP and our hosts FC Barcelona are among the organisations that will be sharing their knowledge with us.
With collaborations from Eurosport, BBC, T-Mobile and The European Commission there will also be strong emphasis on the role of the media and the future of sports content.
