WWE's recent live event tour of Japan and Thailand generated more than $3million in ticket sales.
“Our live events outside of North America continue to see great success and sell-out crowds,” said Ed Cohen, senior vice president, event booking & live events of WWE.
"The fans in Japan and Thailand were fantastic and we look forward to coming back to perform in those countries."
More that 41,000 people attended the four-day WWE Smackdown! Unleashed in the East Tour in July 2003.
The tour features sellout shows in Bangkok, Thailand, and Yokohama and Kobe, Japan grossing more that $3.3m.
Total Sports Asia Ltd is WWE’s exclusive Tour promoter and marketing agent in Asia and an additional Asian Tour in December is planned and will visit Singapore, Malaysia and Korea.
"We will be announcing the dates within the next few weeks with ticketing information and other exciting activities where fans will have a chance to meet their favourite Superstars in person," stated Marcus Luer, managing director/CEO of Total Sports Asia.
World Wrestling Entertainment's Asian Tour has been a resounding success in terms of ticket sales.
