The England fly-half and talisman will become the brand ambassador for BA during the tournament which is being held in Australia from October 10.
Wilkinson will appear in a host of marketing promotions during and around the tournament on behalf of BA who are also the official airline for the England team.
The tie-up with BA furthers Wilkinson's host of existing sponsorship deals which include adidas, Hackett, LloydsTSB, Lucozade Sport and Tetley's.
