Connors, who has been with Nike since October 1999 when he moved to the firm from rivals adidas, is yet to be replaced.
During his time at Nike, Connors oversaw the UK launch of the Shox range of footwear and was responsible for developing marketing and advertising in the region - Nike's second largest market behind the US.
Rod Connors, the UK marketing director of sports goods giant Nike, has left his post to set up his own marketing consultancy.
