New squash firm established

Dunlop's international squash marketing manager Paul Walters has quit to set up an international marketing and promotional company within the sport.

His new venture will initially have offices in the UK before expanding to the US and Australia.

Said Walters: "I have a number of new ideas I want to follow up, and having achieved the targets I set myself with Dunlop, I am now looking forward to formulating new global initiatives in squash."

Added Dunlop group marketing director Graeme Derby: "During his six years with DSG, Paul has worked tirelessly to develop our brands as the pre-eminent force in squash. Dunlop has re-established itself as the sport's market leader, with our rackets and balls used by more and more players, from the elite professionals through to club players and beginners, and our growth and consistent results have been evidence of his enthusiasm and motivation."
