Paolo Flammini, who along with brother Maurizio controls the commercial rights to the sport through their FGSport company is keeping the specifics close to his chest, but hints the plan will be to close up the gaps between races on Sundays to allow broadcasters a tight, short package which they can broadcast as a single programme.
Said Flammini: "There are some broadcasters such as RAI in Italy and the BBC in the UK which is reducing the space for sport, so clearly we need to ensure our product can compete for that time. We hope the changes we plan to reintroduce will reinforce that position."
The meetings are due to take place in October.
