SP Active snaps up CRM

SP Active Ltd, the entertainment and sports marketing subsidiary of World Sports Solutions PLC, has acquired 100 percent of Chris Reed Marketing Ltd (CRM) and CRM’s 35 percent interest in Mellow Marketing Ltd.

CRM specialises in creating marketing partnerships between brand and media owners. Current clients include Associated Newspapers, IPC, River Publishing, Chrysalis Radio, THQ Games, Future Publishing, Sony Ericsson, Diageo and IKEA.

Mellow Marketing Ltd specialises in cinema and film marketing to the over-40s market. Clients include Twentieth Century Fox, UIP and Warner Bros.

CRM will trade under SP Active’s name and Chris Reed has been appointed as SP Active’s vice president of entertainment and media.
