The popularity of the Tour de France amongst US viewers has soared in line with the success of Lance Armstrong who is bidding to win his fifth successive Tour.
CBS Sports will conclude its exclusive network coverage of this year's 21-stage, 2,084 mile Tour de France on Sunday, July 27, as the cyclists head to Paris for the final stage and conclusion of the Tour celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first race.
CBS has extended its TV rights agreement for cycling's Tour de France through until 2008.
