The impact on golf by Tiger Woods has been demonstrated clearly once more after NBC recorded poor TV ratings for the final round of the weekend's US Open.
With Woods failing to keep up with the leaders, interest levels slumped 40 percent from last year.
NBC saw a 5.6 overnight rating for Jim Furyk's victory - compared to 9.3 last year when Woods triumphed.
