Tagged in &

The candidates in the race for two of the top jobs at the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have been unveiled.

With current president Wes Hall confirming he will not seek re-election for health reasons, the post of president of the WICB will be fought between Guyana's Chetram Singh and Trinidad & Tobago's William Rodriguez.

Current vice-president Val Branks of the Leeward Islands will face a challenge from Lennox John of the Windward Islands.

The elections will take place during the annual general meeting of the WICB on July 12-13.

A key topic to be discussed in the run-up to the elections will be over the West Indies suitability of hosting a future Cricket World Cup amid financial concerns.
