Lee, whose presentation took the delegates through the TV rights selling process for the UEFA Champions League which UEFA is currently in the middle of, spoke of how the deal done for coverage of the tournament in Japan represented the biggest revenue rise of all.
He said: "In a difficult market, we have been successful thus far in deriving similar revenues or higher from our rights negotiations for the next Champions League contract.
"None more so than in Japan where the deal we have struck is worth three times more than its preceding rights contract."
Lee also pointed to the deal signed in the UK with terrestrial broadcaster ITV and pay-TV platform BSkyB as UEFA's most successful negotiation in the principal European markets so far.
Speaking at the FT Business of Sport conference, UEFA communications director Mike Lee revealed that the governing body's revenue from TV rights sales in Japan has risen considerably.
