The contract with Swiss television partner, SRG SSR idC)e Suisse, will continue for the next three seasons 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2005/06.
The agreement allows all three Swiss channels – SF DRS, TSR and TSI – to carry on their transmission of the live matches and highlights summaries of UEFA’s premier club football competition.
SRG SSR idC)e Suisse has partnered UEFA since 1994.
Said UEFA chief executive Gerhard Aigner: “We are delighted to have reached an agreement with SRG SSR idC)e Suisse and to continue this fruitful partnership with a high-quality broadcaster. This deal will benefit football fans in all regions of Switzerland and we are looking forward to sharing more passionate moments with Swiss clubs and their supporters.”
