Though no financial details of the multi-year deal have been revealed, industry sources have estimated that the tie-up is worth around $3.5million annually for six years.
Anthony, who led Syracuse University to its first national basketball championship last month, gave up his final three years of college eligibility on April 24 to enter the National Basketball Association draft.
Anthony, who turns 19 on May 29, is projected by many NBA scouts as the second or third pick in the June 26 draft in New York. High school senior LeBron James is the consensus choice as the number one pick.
James, who has been at the centre of a bidding war between the large sports good manufacturers, is believed to be close to signing a multi-year endorsement contract worth around $75m with Reebok International Ltd although nothing has as yet been confirmed.
