The five-day event, which has attracted hundreds of industry figures to Madrid, has grabbed headlines around the world with its array of speakers, which have included FIFA president Sepp Blatter and the IOC's Jacques Rogge.
Now organisers are planning to repeat the success with SportAccord 2004, to be staged in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Today's final sessions - on sport and technology - include another top line-up of big names, among them Riccardo Silva, managing director of MPWeb, the new media arm of Italian agency Media Partners; Sab Singh, co-founder and principle of US-based Avila Partners; and Mervyn Trappler, executive vice-president at virtual imaging firm PVI.
Sessions will include how best to harness the power of the internet, exploiting revenues from mobile devices, and customer relationship management through online ticketing.
