AOL Time Warner has confirmed it has withdrawn from the race to win the US TV rights to the 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games.
The decision means the contract is set to be a four-horse race between the parent companies of ABC-ESPN, NBC - the current rights holders - CBS and Fox.
Said an AOL Time Warner spokesman: "With the current requirements set forth by the IOC for the US TV rights, Turner Broadcasting will be unable to submit a bid at this time."
