The two-day event entitled A Sporting Future, will take place between August 12-13 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and has been endorsed by sportscotland and the Health Education Board for Scotland (HEBS).
The conference will feature speakers from the worlds of sport, politics, health, media and business, with the agenda exploring the fundamental role that sport can play in developing people, communities and economies.
Speakers already confirmed include Sir Rodney Walker, chairman of UK Sport, and Keith Wyness, CEO of Scottish Premier League soccer club Aberdeen.
