MLB offers free webcasts

Major League Baseball is looking to promote its live webcasts by offering a four-day series of free broadcasts on MLB.TV.

Out of market baseball fans who log in can watch some 42 total games both live and archived from through to Sunday, May 4.
MLB.TV offers domestic fans about 60 out of market games each week, or about a thousand games for the season. International fans that are not subject to the local and national blackout rules will have access to over two thousand games for the 2003 season.
"MLB.TV offers millions of fans who root for a team that's not their local team an opportunity to stay connected," said Holly Arnowitz, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for MLB Advanced Media.
"This four day free trial will allow fans to sample the great quality of the webcasts and the ability to access games they can't see anywhere else."
