IEC, earlier this month concluded a deal with the sport’s international body to be responsible for TV co-ordination and distribution of the 2003 and 2004 FIVB World Grand Prix, the federation’s premier women’s indoor tournament.
For beach volleyball, encompassing the Swatch-FIVB World Tour and World Championships presented by Swatch, IEC will act as FIVB TV co-ordinator working with host broadcasters.
They will also work to expand television exposure globally.
IEC will also ensure unilateral news production and coordination for all four Grand Slam events and the World Championship in Rio de Janeiro, while international news distribution will be done jointly by FIVB and IEC.
