A letter of intent has been signed to extend the MotoGP at Phakisa, South Africa for at least another three years.
The deal was agreed by Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, and Webster Mfebe, member of the executive council for sport in the Free State.
The parties have agreed to confirm all the details of the final agreement for races to continue at the Phakisa Freeway by no later than June 18.
The race currently pulls in more than 300m viewers for the race, worldwide.
