ZCU confirm England tour

The Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) has confirmed it will tour England this summer - despite the political row which engulfed this year's Cricket World Cup.

The tour was put in doubt after England pulled its team out of a planned game in Zimbabwe during the World Cup amid criticism of the Zimbabwe regime and security concerns.
The decision cost England not only vital points, but also left the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) facing a large compensation bill from the sport's governing body the ICC.
The team will play two Test matches against England, plus a tri-nation tournament featuring England and South Africa.
