The renewal deal of the virtual advertising pact between the two parties is the fifth consecutive year of the association and includes 34 games being produced in the high definition TV format.
Rory McNeil, director of broadcast for the Phillies, commented: "We are very pleased to continue our association with PVI and to be able to place our advertisers into high definition this season".
PVI creates and produces the virtual advertisements, static or animated, that appear behind a batter during play and are only visible to the television audience. The company has produced virtual ads for regular season games, Major League Baseball's All-Star Game and the World Series.
