Rawlings has retained its contract as the official ball supplier of Major League Baseball.
The major league teams will continue to use Rawlings baseballs until the end of 2008 after the company signed a new six-year deal with MLB officials.
Rawlings, which has recently been acquired by K2 Inc., has been the league's official ball supplier since 1977.
