The deal will see the UK broadcaster carry live coverage of the UK race in Donington and the final round in Valencia, Spain.
Same-day coverage of the 16 round championship will be broadcast on BBC Two.
Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO at rights-holders Dorna Sports said: "The UK has always been a key country for the development of MotoGP, so we at Dorna are very happy to have signed this agreement with the BBC, because now we feel that the popularity of our sport will receive an important boost thanks to the new coverage offered by the BBC."
The BBC has signed a new two-year deal to broadcast coverage of the MotoGP World Championship.
