New team set for F1?

Formula One could be welcoming a new German-run team onto the grid next season, according to reports in the Dutch press.

They claim Olivier Behring, the businessman behind an attempt to buy-up the doomed Arrows team last year, is looking to field a team, making their debut next March.

The reports say the team will have an as-yet-unnamed major financial backer, with BAR boss Craig Pollock behind lined up to lead the team, although nothing has been confirmed.

Behring had planned to takeover Arrows, rename them German Grand Prix Racing and compete in the current World Championship, but his plans were scuppered when the FIA prevented the team entry into the championship because of its financial problems.
