US broadcaster NBC is leading the way in the nominations for the 24th annual Sports Emmy Awards.
The network has garnered 36 nominations for the awards ceremony including 17 for its coverage of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
Outside of NBC, ESPN scored 22 nominations, followed by Fox (14), HBO (14), ABC (12), ESPN2 (12), and CBS (9).
