Speaking during a whistle-stop trip to London, Blatter told the BBC the idea would not be workable.
Said Blatter: "This idea of Nigeria’s is not feasible.
"Even if there is to be a co-hosting, which would be in exceptional circumstances, there will only be one organising committee.
"But we will not consider this idea, as the other countries are not candidates."
Nigeria had been expected to make a joint bid with Cameroon, the Benin Republic, Togo and Ghana.
Nigeria’s plans to bid to co-host the 2010 FIFA World Cup with four African countries has been dismissed as ‘not feasible’ by Sepp Blatter.
