Wigley & Nolan join seminar speakers

English Football Association HR director Paul Nolan and former IAAF and ATP executive Jon Wigley, have joined the list of speakers at a seminar being staged by United Media Entertainment Partners (UMEP).

They will appear at the inaugural Sports HR Seminar on March 21 in London.

Topics to be discussed will cover recruitment, training and retention, whilst also giving a chance for attendees to interact and share HR techniques and experiences.

There will also be representatives from the RFU, ECB, NFL, ESPN, Eurosport, Williams F1, Clear Channel, Sporting Index and Marsh.

"This forum will create a strong platform for HR and policy makers to further strengthen the alignment of HR strategies with those of the business they serve across all facets of the sport industry" said Dominic Quantrill, managing director of UMEP.

"It is clear that businesses of all sizes, be they federations, broadcasters or teams have got to harness the full capabilities of their staff and do so without losing sight of the key issues such as revenue creation."
